This notice applies to blog.sayori.org. The site processes basic network information to serve pages, operate visit statistics, and maintain its services.

Visits and IP geolocation
When you view a page, the site sends a page-view event; periodic heartbeats update online status while the page is visible. Cloudflare Pages receives the connection IP to serve the request, and the page-view handler reads it for approximate network statistics.
When no valid cached result exists, the server may query configured IP lookup services in this order: DKLY, IPinfo Lite (if its server-side token is configured), then IP.SB (if enabled). A lookup provider receives the visitor IP as the address being queried. IPinfo Lite returns country, continent, and ASN information, but no city or VPN/proxy detection; Cloudflare metadata may provide an approximate region or city.
The analytics database stores keyed HMAC digests of IP and browser-generated visitor/session IDs, not the raw IP. It also stores the page path without query parameters, title, time, and available location/network summaries. Cached lookup results are considered valid for 24 hours. Visit and session records use a 90-day cleanup cutoff; cleanup is opportunistic and may run later. The GitHub-OAuth-protected admin view shows summaries, not raw IP addresses. Geolocation is approximate and can be affected by VPNs, proxies, and shared networks.
Browser storage and analytics
A random visitor ID is kept in localStorage and a session ID in sessionStorage to group repeat visits and page views. You can delete them in your browser’s site-data settings; this does not prevent Cloudflare or a configured lookup provider from receiving the IP needed to handle a visit.
The site uses self-hosted Umami at stats.sayori.org and Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics. Google’s scripts load after your first interaction or 10 seconds after page load, whichever comes first. These services may process request and browser data under their own policies.
Comments and contact
If you comment, Twikoo at comments.sayori.org processes the submitted content, nickname, any email address you provide, and request information under its own configuration. Comment data is separate from the blog’s visit-statistics database.
