Reflections#

An old acquaintance I hadn’t heard from in ages suddenly got in touch, using the GodotHub competition as an excuse. Seems like they want to team up with me… but honestly, teaming up is such a hassle… I think I’ll just stick to casual chats… Sigh… Well, it is what it is, I guess it’s an experience.

The GodotHub Jam theme is out: Delay. Delay, procrastination, I’ve been doing these things all along… I guess I’ll just make those videos today, then continue drawing. It suddenly occurred to me that I still have music to learn, but thinking about it, it’s probably too late, that’ll have to wait.

And then, I should probably exercise this afternoon too. Haven’t really worked out much these past few days… It’s still early for now, so I don’t have to worry about those advanced math and physics courses yet. But thinking about them still brings some resentment, though I’m not even sure what I’m resenting. If only I were selfish enough, then I wouldn’t resent myself, only that crappy university.

Saw something about quantitative trading, stock market stuff again… Honestly, it’s impossible not to be tempted… But… maybe it’s what they call childishness, I still want to become stronger technically. Though it feels like becoming truly strong in tech is already so hard in this AI era… I chose game development; at least this can combine anything I’ve experienced. Anything can be gamified… which really means creative output, like articles, drawings, music, videos, etc. I still hope I can support myself through creative output… even if my current creative level might not be that great…

Things I want to do today#

• Pixel art practice (didn’t do it in the end…)
• GodotHub Jam development (didn’t do that either)
• Exercise (didn’t do that either…)
• Video planning, furiously planning with the sol model. It really is a SOTA model for planning, pretty good meow. I feel like I could get 100 subscribers with one video, meow.
