This morning I still stayed up until 1 AM, I really can’t believe myself. I should go to bed early tonight! Then I’m developing the gmtk project, but in reality, I’m just directing AI. My godot-hub-jam project also feels a bit lost… Is this what happens when you overuse AI?… Now if I were to modify the script myself, I wouldn’t even know where to start… Procedural animation and audio, huh… I thought about learning these before, but now I’m just using AI for everything…

I recently got into ARGs, and I find them quite interesting. Compared to the metaverse, it’s also an intriguing direction. Plus, with all the communities and other things I’ve been involved with, they’d be perfect as various ‘traversal’ websites for an ARG. Below are some thoughts I had yesterday:

  • Create an ARG game related to me, letting more people experience the stories I create from my perspective.
  • Post these things across the various communities and platforms I frequent.
  • The difficulty is that these communities aren’t permanent.
  • They might get deleted.
  • Oh, but I can use archive.org to save pages.
  • That should solve it, right?

In that case, maybe I could post some strange things in various communities, save them using archive.org or archive.ph, and also deploy some superficial websites on Cloudflare Pages. At the same time, I could post some weird videos on YouTube and Bilibili. Thinking about it gets me pretty excited! I even feel like turning my godot-hub-jam project into this kind of ARG, or making my first Steam game an ARG-type puzzle.
